![]() This is the first time the Class 1 fleet has visited Moscow, Russia and the circuit on the Khimki Reservoir is going to prove very challenging. The reservoir is home to many commercial vessels including large multi-deck ferries. Because space is tight, the race consists of 24 laps totalling 93 miles. The turns are tight with boats coming within metres of the reservoir banks. In practice Steve Curtis and Sheikh Thani were quickest ahead of Victory 1 and Jotun but the Grand Prix could spring a few surprises.
